Helen McCookerybook, (The Chefs/Helen & the Horns), has released nine solo albums. Her previous album Pea Soup (03/2020) received a 4* review in MOJO and extensive airplay on 6Music. The multi-talented McCookerybook produced a documentary on the She Punks with Gina Birch (The Raincoats) in 2018, based on her 2007 book 'The Lost Women of Rock'.

Her second book (writing as Helen Reddington), 'She's at the Controls: Sound Engineering, Production and Gender Ventriloquism in the 21st Century', was published in March 2021.

She has also recently released collaborative EPs on Gare du Nord with Robert Rotifer (as McCookerybook & Rotifer) and electronic composer Willie Gibson.
